Teachers want to grow in their profession, and they are willing to try
new methods when they see benefits for their students. A technology specialist
from Concord, New Hampshire, uses a light touch in introducing the UDL
approach to improving instruction.

People ask us where we start, and what I say is, don't even think about
it as technology, don't even think of it as UDL per se. Ask the teacher

Don't even bring up the word "technology." Once that's established,
once there's a common understanding there, then begin going into your
toolbox,

as a toolbox, and being suggesting,

And quite often we have a lot of luck in that kind of sell verses an aggressive
sell saying this is what you need.
